Since 2023

    Senior Analyst – Operations at Lightkeeper (Boston, MA / Remote).

    Maintained and developed processes and automations for internal
    customer support, including user and permission management; cloud
    infrastructure and server creation and provisioning; application
    deployments; and data warehousing. Spearheaded efforts to modernize
    bespoke scripts with standard tools such as Terraform and Ansible.

2019 - 2023

    DevOps Engineer at Remedy Health Media (Arlington, VA / Remote).

    Designed and implemented a greenfield AWS-based architecture using
    the Hashicorp stack (Consul, Nomad, Vault, Packer) for hosting
    containerized applications. Lead the process of containerizing new
    and legacy applications and introducing continuous delivery and
    automated lifecycle management. Authored and maintained multiple
    internal tools to empower non-technical users to interact with
    various levels of the deployment stack.

2017 - 2019

    DevOps Engineer at Georgetown University (Washington, DC).

    Created a series of tools for internal use including DNS scripting
    and automation, TLS certificate management, and custom Terraform
    providers for interacting with proprietary systems. Part of a team
    that moved applications from on-site VMWare to a multi-cloud
    architecture including AWS and Google. Architected and implemented a
    multi-tenent container cluster for microservices and client
    applications. Designed CI workflow for services deployment and
    config management.

2014 - 2017

    CTO at Snapshots (Winter Park, FL).

    Designed and wrote a Ruby on Rails API to service a family of client
    applications including iOS, Android, and React-based web. Built
    Lambda-based service for uploaded image processing. Managed servers
    with Terraform and Salt. Engineered deployment strategy with CI
    pipeline in Jenkins.

2013 - 2014

    Web Developer at Core-Apps (Remote).

    Prototyped Ruby on Rails progressive web app and CMS backend as an
    alternative to custom native apps. Used internal Ruby framework to
    import customer data in a variety of formats. Worked on existing
    administrative codebase to fix bugs and add features.

2010 - 2013

    Operations at Cloudspace (Orlando, FL)

    Installed, configured, monitored, and maintained both physical
    servers and cloud instances using tools such as Chef, Ansible, and
    Nagios. Set up and maintained MySQL databases. Assisted developers
    with deployments and reproducable local environments with Vagrant.
